"ස්වගවේශ", The self - realization mirrors self - discovery as a way to explore the realization of life of individuals and it was the theme based on the project of Prefects in 2021. The entire programme created a platform for A/L students of the school as a motivational programme. As the resource personned Mrs. Buddika Erdandi Jayasinge, Psychotherapist guided and motivated the students to a better understanding of the life. Our Principal, Rev. Sr. Priyanthi Jayathunga, The Former Vice Principal, Rev. Sr. Charitha Thandalge, The Vice Principal and the prefects Incharge Rev. Sr. Maureen Hettiarachchi, The Deputy Principal Mrs. Prasadini Perera and our dear prefects Incharge teachers and all the teachers of the staff guided and shown their sincere love to the prefects guild. This project is excicuted with the dream of former Vice Principal, Rev. Sr. Charitha Thandalge to organize a meaningful prefect’s project. The project was held on 11th of March 2022 at 8.00.a.m in the school main hall and Rev. Sisters, Dear teachers and A/L students were invited. It was based on how to get rid of social media, to live the life consciously and peacefully and coperatively . The prefects organized few other special events to do the programme meaningful. The mirrors behind the success of the programme was the unity and the team sprirt among the prefects, 2021.

Due to the covid -19 pandemic, we lost some of our loved ones in our school family at unexpected time. So, the junior prefects of 2021 conducted prayer services to cherish the loving memories of the dearly departed and asked for God's grace to be showered upon them. The strength and power of God as well as the Holy Spirit were prayed for, for the family members. The teachers, students and family members of the deceased joined the prayer services via Zoom.

The Prefects' Investiture of 2021 was held on the 23rd of October as a virtual event via zoom. The teachers in charge of the prefects conducted the event and all the teachers and students of the school were invited to witness the programme. The names of the senior prefects of 2021 were announced by Rev. Sr. Priyanthi Jayatunga, the Principal of our school. The prefects gave the oath holding a lighted lamp. These selected prefects started their duties and responsibilities as the Senior Prefects of Holy Family Convent, Kalutara and all the teachers and students wished them success.

The Junior prefects of 2021 conducted prayer services asking God's healing power and blessings for all the people over the world who were suffering not only physically but also mentally due to this pandemic situation. As a school family it was conducted twice a month via Zoom.

The investiture of Stewards of Holy Family Convent - Kalutara was held on 23rd of September 2020. On this occasion, 50 Stewards from grade 9 were appointed in the presence of the School Principal, Rev. Sr. Priyanthi Jayathunga, Vice Principal Rev. Sr. Charitha Thandalge and teachers in charge Rev. Sr. Niroshika Jayamanne, Mrs. Varuni Warnakula and Mrs. Pavithra Bopitiya.

The primary prefects investiture of year 2019 was held in the school main hall on 11^th January 2019. The occassion was organized by Rev. Sr. Chandani Hallinna the principal of the primary section and the teachers of the primary section.

The investiture of the senior prefects of year 2019 was held in the school main hall on 10^th January 2019. The holy mass was conducted by Rev. Fr. Asitha Hettiarachchi. Rev. Sr. Priyanthi Jayathunga our principal, Rev. Sr. Achala Costa the sister in-charge of prefects, Mrs. Prasadini Perera our vice principal and the members of the staff, the parents of the prefects and students were present at the event.

The investiture of 22 primary prefects of our school was held on 12th January 2018 in the school main hall. The Principal and the Deputy Principals were present at this occasion. We wish them good luck!
